Hari Niwas Mishra is a Professor of Food Technology at IIT Kharagpur.He was President(Past) of the Association of Food Technologists & Technologists(India),member of Approval Committee on Task Force on Food and Nutritional Security,Govt. of India,member of Scientific Advisory Committee, Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development and also member of Research Advisory Committee, National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute.His patents include A Novel Technique for manufacture of Instant Tea,Production of Mango - Milk based Fruit Bar and Process Technology for Production of Gluten free Bread.
Hari Niwas Mishra has research publications in both national and in international journals.His research area is in Health foods & nutraceuticals,RTE convenience foods,Innovative food processing technologies, Extension of shelf life of perishables,Food safety & quality control
